"Your Own LoV.E" as written by Sierra Kusterbeck and Blake Harnage....
(Make your own love, love, love)

The waterworks blocked his words,
He felt sorry,
Well I'm sorry for me too.

But I think you're broken to the fact,
I can't and won't go back,
I think you're broken to the fact.

You make your own love.
Yeah you make your own love.
Love, love.

Where did you go?
Don't you know I'm still here?
You think you're better all alone.

No, I think you're broken to the fact,
I can't and won't go back,
Yeah, I think you're broken to the fact.

You make your own love.
Yeah you make your own love.
Love, love.

What if it's all a quick dream,
Can I just stomp right through the concrete,
See who's beneath me,
And are you honest to "God" when you speak?
When you seek proof,
Does it hide from you?
I wanna feel the way you claim to feel.

You make your own love.
Yeah you make your own love.
Love, love, love.

    General CommentI think the lines

"And are you honest to "God" when you speak?
    When you seek proof,
    Does it hide from you?
I wanna feel the way you claim to feel."

really explain what the song is about.

Song Meaningthe song meaning in Sierra's words:

"The song is about someone holding you back from finding what it is you love and chasing after it–not necessarily a love for a person, but a love for your passion. It ties in with “Redesign Me” in that people see you changing, but really you're leaving your past and finding your future."

General CommentI agree with Srslysylviaa that those lines speak for the whole song.

Though, I don't think it intentionally has any specific religious meaning since the band tries to stay away from that kind of thing, but the song can easily be interpreted as such.

Instead I think what that they mean is, "and are you 'honest to God' when you speak?", like when people 'swear honest to God' as an expression, whether they're religious or not.

General CommentI think it's actually "I wanna feel the way to cling to me" rather than "claim to feel".
    :)
