"Fire (Aim Your Arrows High)" as written by Blake Harnage, Sierra Kusterbeck and Lyndsey Gunnulfsen....
Take a look around
Our time's almost running out
Give back what you get
Uproot questions in your head

The looking glass is clear
What you want is near (nearly gone)

Shoot out all the lights
Hold your ground, we'll hit the sky
It's time you aim your arrows high
Take down all the doubt
Cast it out, lets do it now
It's time we aim our arrows high

Sewn into your soul
This is out of our control
Be who you need to be
There's no other you or me

The looking glass is clear
What you want is near (nearly gone)

Shoot out all the lights
Hold your ground, we'll hit the sky
It's time you aim your arrows high
Take down all the doubt
Cast it out, lets do it now
It's time we aim our arrows high

The angst you hold
You gotta let it go, let it go
Said to myself I'm so alone, but I'm never alone
I'll walk and walk to find the impossible
Yes, we're hexed, stuck in a mess
We're all such a wreck

Shoot out all the lights
Hold your ground, we'll hit the sky
It's time you aim your arrows high
Take down all the doubt
Cast it out, lets do it now
It's time we aim our arrows high

Shoot out all the lights
Shoot out all the lights
Aim your arrows high
Aim your arrows high

Song MeaningSierra meant this song to be an inspiration to us all♥:

"This song was inspired not only by [the movie] Avatar, but mainly our supporters–like the VersaVultures. So many of them have reached out to us, telling us how much we've helped them in some way. It's also inspired by specific people I've met at shows and keep in touch with because they just need someone to talk to. I see them in a confusing point in their lives, just like me. Maybe they don’t love or believe in themselves or they don't feel as if they're worth it. I use my voice to let them know they need to take chances and follow their dreams. I sound like a preschool teacher, but I'm dead serious. This song is 110 percent for you guys. People always ask about the arrow tattooed on my finger. Besides the fact that I like arrows, I'm also a Sagittarius–everyone in the band is–and the tattoo always points me in the right direction. So the thought of aiming your arrows high is very hopeful. It's all about pushing forward, busting through the obstacles of life and not letting one single person bring you down. We're all a wreck, but we're also unique because of it."

General CommentI think "But I'm still whole" could be "The angst you hold." But that's just what I hear lol.

As for the incomplete line. It is really hard to hear...
"Yes, we're here, stuck in a mess" maybe?

General CommentI think this song is about how you only have one life and you've got to learn to live your life to the fullest, and just reach for the sky. Just don't let anyone stop you.

My InterpretationThis song has many similarities to the novel "The Hunger Games". i feel like Blake's singing could be peeta and Sierra's singing is meant to be Katniss. The similarities are uncanny. The arrow reference is obvious, it's katniss's weapon of choice, and she is very angst-full and there is a part in the book where she states that she feels 'alone' during the games but she knows she is never alone. During the games she is constantly searching for things: water, food, other tributes(other contestants of the hunger games). When Katniss is in training before the games she shoots out the lights with her arrows to gain the attention of the Gamemakers. She is also the one who tries to talk Peeta into truely believing they can win the hunger games and tells him not to doubt their strength basically. Also when blake sings "be who you need to be, there's no other you or me" I believe this has to do with the scene where Peeta tells Katniss the eve of the hunger games that he wants to die with his identity and as himself, not what the Capitol(the city which created the hunger games) wants them to be since he believes they(well at least that he) will die during the games. there is so much more i can say but for those who have read the novel, you probably have also noticed this, for those who have not and will not read it, THE MOVIE IS OUT MARCH 23rd! WATCH IT <3
