"Dangerous Blues" as written by George Ryan Ross and Jonathan Walker....
All I do is lie, by the oceanside
Why do the clouds all turn grey just for you?
I've never bloomed such a beautiful blues

Step outside your door, and go down to the shore
Why do your eyes feel like shells in a dune?
What makes a crowd turn away from a tune?
I've never bloomed such a beautiful blues

Even the tide gets high at night
Even the truth is wrong sometimes

All I want to do is dig hole with you
Feet are no stranger to the undertow
Wind won't decide which way to blow

But we will never leave,
You're all that's left for me
This a home we just don't have a door
Euphoria is a risk on the floor
Words keep on crawling from under the rug
Who knew that love was a dangerous drug?

Even the tide gets high at night
Even the truth is wrong sometimes, sometimes

Who knew that love was a beautiful blues?
Who knew that love was a dangerous drug?
Now I know love is a beautiful drug
I know that drug is a dangerous love
I know now love is a dangerous blues

General CommentWhat an incredible song by Ryan Ross. The real backbone of Panic. Yes Brendon and Ross need each other. Listen to all their music and saw them play live last month in Dallas. Brendon can hire good musicians but you can't replace Ross and this is what missing with Panic. Ryan is so talented I just don't understand why he didn't do more side projects like Brandon Flowers and still get along with Panic?

The song - Ryan is telling us love conquers all. When you love someone it does not matter what you do as long as you love and are in love. When you are in love things are so magical yet the outcomes are not certain. That is the theme to the dangerous drug. Now you don't find that out until you are there.

The melody of this song is amazing. It captures the beauty of being in love and not really knowing where it is taking you yet you want to be there and are willing to go through with the journey.

    What a beautiful song.
