Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
No teachers after school
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
You're so dead after school
Oh no no
Why don't you beg
That's so wrong
That's so bad
That's so wrong
Why don't you say it
Uncle
Why don't you say it
Uncle
Why don't you say it
Uncle

Why don't you say it you baby
My arms are tired
Nobody likes you
Get you again tomorrow

Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
You're so dead after school
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
No teachers after school
Oh no no
Why don't you beg
That's so wrong
That's so bad
That's so wrong
Why don't you say it
Uncle
Why don't you say it
Uncle
You better say it
Uncle

Oh oh no

No good but at least you're down to the road of painted gold
Everyone but you
Never down within minutes baby
You really need to decide what you're going to do for you
With your life or he'll
You can never get over missing me

Oh oh no
Why don't you beg
That's so wrong
That's so bad
That's so wrong
Why don't you say it
Uncle
Why don't you say it
Uncle
Why don't you say it
Uncle

Oh oh no

isn't it 'everybody's entitled to their own opinion' instead of 'everybody's in town to the road of painted gold'?

Those don't seem right. I heard it on the live dvd, but here're the lyrics I got from it: (forgive the large post size DX)

Oh oh oh, oh oh oh No teachers after school Oh oh oh, oh oh oh You're so dead after school Oh no no Why don't you beg Fatso, run Fatso, beg Fatso

Why don't you say it Uncle Why don't you say it Uncle You better say it Uncle Uncle

Oh oh oh, oh oh oh No teachers after school Oh oh oh, oh oh oh You're so dead after school Oh no no Why don't you beg Fatso, run Fatso, beg Fatso

Why don't you say it Uncle Why don't you say it Uncle You better say it Uncle Uncle Why don't you say it you baby Run home to mother Nobody likes you Get you again tomorrow De-de-de-decide you know we're gonna Torture you Make your life a hell You'll never get over baby Be-be-be-be-be running too long from you Make my life a hell You can never, ever Why don't you beg Fatso, run Fatso Why don't you say it Uncle Why don't you say it Uncle You better say it Uncle Uncle

I always hear "nobody likes you run home to mama" instead of "My arms are tired" and ym version is missing the last stanza :O.

So if this is about a bully to his victim, I don't get the "Why don't you say it Uncle" thing.

Is the bully pretending the victim is his uncle who abused him?

Those lyrics are VERY wrong (As in incorrect)

I reckon it's sung from the perspecitve of someone who's a bully and who has been bullied. Or the 'bully' doing one part and the 'victim' the other... Got to be biographical, IMO.

I reckon the 'Uncle' bit is in there just for the sake of being random... but I'm probably wrong.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
