"Comprachicos" as written by Gareth Mcgrillen and Robert Swire Thompson....
Manipulation doesn't shape me,
And I am just feeling the part took out.
And even though this curse restrains me,
I got so many things to yell about.

Well I could fight this,
But I may die.
And don't wanna us be the apple in your eye.
Well I could stay here,
Strap on my face.
Listen to the words that put me in my place.

I have seen a transition
And you wondered what I'm gonna do about it.
You thought that my eyes were behind my back
Though that I didn't want to but as you see,

Throw it away!
'Cos I got the patience,
To see that you drown.
To watch you go down.

Throw it away!
'Cos I got the patience,
To see that you drown.
To watch you go down.

I have a reality
I want ?
All I'm starving for I'm believing you

Throw it away!
'Cos I got the patience,
To see that you drown.
To watch you go down.

Throw it away!
'Cos I got the patience,
To see that you drown.
To watch you go down.

Lyric CorrectionOr again...not as a reply:

    Manipulation doesn't shape me
I am just filling the bottle out
and even though this glass restrains me,
I can’t see anything to yell about

    well i could fight this,
    but i may die.
and all i want is to be the apple in your eye,
but i can stay here, strap on my face.
listen to the ones who put me in my place.

I am a serial fantasy destroyer
And you wanna know what I’m going to do about it
You thought that my hands were behind my back
Though I didn’t have the nerve to throw it away

    'cause I’ve got the patience
    To see that you drown
    to watch you go down

    Throw it away
    'cause I’ve got the patience
    To see that you drown
    to watch you go down

I am a reality invention fighter
At war against your constant manipulation
All this time you thought that I believed you
The more you say, the easier to throw it away

    'cause I’ve got the patience
    To see that you drown
    to watch you go down

    Throw it away
    'cause I’ve got the patience
    To see that you drown
    to watch you go down

General CommentI thought this was very industrial...kinda gothic influenced. Marilyn Manson comes to mind especially with the first verse.

Fantastic, massive album. Miles ahead of In Silico, maybe not quite an improvement on Hold Your Colour, but they've certainly taken the best elements of both previous albums and worked HARD on them to make something entirely different and FUCKING awesome! Loving the water motif through the entire album too. This one seems to be about resisiting manipulation and having the courage to stand up for yourself as an individual. The themes aren't the most groundbreaking, but still great stuff from my favourite DnB guys.

    Gonna be insane live...

General CommentThe first 20 seconds sound like they are or were influenced heavily by Celldweller.
I don't doubt that they probably were.

General CommentI think this song is about the abusive parents of a child, who wants nothing more for them to die.
