"Through It All" as written by Gary Victor Brown and Steve Harvey....
I've seen a lot
Through things that happened
With my head down
With my eyes closed
I've seen through you
And all your circles
Precious moments
That won't come true
Take a step
If you choose one way
It just gets harder
There are rules
I haven't stopped
I just keep trying
There is no end
I will make it
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all

Through it all
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all

And I've backed down
And I've stood up
Either way
I'm in the same place
Miss your friends
You miss the world
Trying to grow up
Oh so patient
And I'm aware
That it's not fair
It's frustrating
It's not working
No matter what
It takes some time
I am hiding
I am angry
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all

Through it all
Through it all
Through it all
Through it all
(Through it all...)

Take a step
If you choose one way
It just gets harder
There are rules
I haven't stopped
I just keep trying
There is no end
I will make it
Just don't stop (Through it all)
You must keep trying (Through it all)
There is no end (Through it all)
You will make it (Through it all)
Don't give up (Through it all)
You must keep trying (Through it all)
There is no end (Through it all)
You will make it (Through it all)
Just don't stop (Through it all)
You must keep trying (Through it all)
There is no end (Through it all)
Through your choices (Through it all)
Don't give up (Through it all)
And just keep trying (Through it all)
There is no end (Through it all)
You will make it (Through it all)
Don't give up

General CommentThis is my favorite off the new album. You must listen to it with headphones. What a song. So powerful. I can't think of anything that I've ever encountered that has made me feel so deeply the sheer *power* of optimism. S is always emotional, but this song in particular gets to me every time I hear it. It blends that familiar heartbreaking sincerity of Jenn Ghetto's with a new, unrelenting, uncompromising, downright *profound* determination that I've never before heard her express. This song affects me on a level I've seldom experienced in my life. In that final minute, when the words flow from first person to second, it becomes a song for not just her but for all of us. "Beautiful" doesn't even begin to describe the feeling.

Please don't ever stop, Jenn. We love you.
