you’re such a baby
it’s just a nose bleed
leave me for a while
so you can go and cry
didn’t I say that
you make it up
twist my words around
flip them upside down
you cannot stay here
you must go home
it’s nearly 3 o’clock
and now I’m seeing spots

wake me up just to call me
sleeping beauty
oh fine
that’s fine
I got my hands up
I’m feeling vulnerable

one more message
it could not hold
so you go to option B
drive 20 miles to see me at my worst
and off to work
think of random things to say
then leave me for the day

wake me up just to call me
sleeping beauty
oh fine
that’s fine
I got my hands up
I’m feeling vulnerable

all your theories
on why I am
so complex all the time
you try to pick my mind
but what about you
you’re so vague
and everything you tell
is what keeps me coming back

wake me up just to call me
sleeping beauty
oh fine
that’s fine
I got my hands up
I’m feeling vulnerable

General CommentI think it's, "I didn't say that/you made it up," not "didn't I say that."

This song reminds me of my brother-in-law and his struggles to make sure I'm going to school and not skipping. One time I used a nose bleed as an excuse to stay home and he called me a baby. I think "one more message" means one more warning. After he warned me a couple times not to miss class, he went to "option B." Now he comes to my house on his way to work every morning to make sure I wake up for school. I hate it because...well I look like a fricken ogre in the morning and I hate when people see me like that. So I feel "vulnerable." He says a couple random things and leaves, expecting me to just magically be fixed in the head and jump up for school with a smile on my face. Him and my sister also make up "theories" of why I am the way I am - that is, obsessed with my image and depressed all the time. It's too complex for them so they resort to calling me a selfish, manipulative 5 year old.

Like that's going to fucking help anything.
