Slip off my skin-fall into bed, I'm stayin' in
With you-with you inside my head
Mail me a sample-phone me a kiss-I'm in a dream
Get me out of this

And of all the creatures under the sky
There is you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I

It's all too much, you're in every little thing I touch
It's all too real, you're in every little thing I feel
It's all such a waste, you're in everything I taste
Come on, come on Come on, come on
Be strong

Think of a time-you name the place
I'll close my eyes...we're face
To face-I see your smile, I feel your kiss
I'm in a dream, get me out of this

The only thing I've never tried
Is leaving here and suicide

And of all the creatures under the sky
There is you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I

Never too much
Never too late
Never turn-away
Never say die
Never let it slip away
Never too much
Never too late
Never say die-never say never

Never never never never
Never too much
Never too late
Never turn-away
Never say die
Never never never never never
Never too much
Never too late
Never turn-away
Never say die
Never let it slip away
Never let it slip away
Never let it slip away

I think that he and his love are in two different places (physically) and they miss each other. They are trying to stay strong and wait for each other because they really do love each other but the distance makes it so hard and they don't want their "relationship" to slip. He is reminded of her constantly (which is what many people experience when they are in love correct?) and he can't stop thinking about her/missing her.

I don't know of these lyrics need correcting because I am too lazy to listen to the song and read them at the same time so hopefully these are right.

Slip off my skin-fall into bed...im stayin' in With you-with you inside my head Mail me a sample-phone me a kiss-I'm in a dream Get me out of this

(He's saying he wants to "fall into bed" with his love but he/she isn't with him right them so he has to just imagine her in his head/think about her/remember her being there. He's wants to stay in and think about her. He wants to hear from her/have some sort of contact with her, thus the "mail me a letter" "phone me a kiss". Phone calls and Letters let you know that there is a distance and they aren't physically together. I'm guessing that the "I'm in a dream" part is he wants it to be a dream because obviously dreams aren't real. "Get me out of this" he doesn't want to be in the dream that he hopes he is in, who would? But at least it means that when he wakes up she'll/he'll be there or things will at least be better and he won't be away from her/him anymore.)

And of all the creatures under the sky There is you and I, you and I You and I, you and I

(This is quite obvious. He feels that they are the two halves that make a whole. Everyone is searching for their missing piece, or love and out of everybody, everything in the world, it him and her/him. They are two people out of everyone else that are perfect for each other.)

It's all too much, you're in every little thing I touch It's all too real, you're in every little thing I feel It's all such a waste, you're in everything I taste Come on, come on Come on, come on Be strong

(He is always reminded of her. I can't stop thinking about her. Everything he touches makes him think of her. He can feel her in the stuff he touches making him think about her. He can't even eat without "tasting" her. "It's all too much" "It's all too real" "It's all such a waste" just go back to him missing her/him and it's hard for him not to give up or break down. "Come on, come on, come on, come on, be strong" He has to remind himself to snap out of it, keep going and be strong. He loves her too much to be weak about the situation.)

Think of a time-you name the place I'll close my eyes...we're face To face-I see your smile, I feel your kiss Im in a dream, get me out of this

(He wants to be able to travel to her as easy as it is to imagine being with her/him in his head. He wants to be out of the "dream" still because then he'll be with her.)

The only thing I've never tried Is leaving here and suicide

(not positive on this I could be wrong but he never has tried leaving the situation because he loves her/him and.. suicide so it's a big deal because he's tried a lot things but because of the love he has for this person, he won' t try to leave)

And of all the creatures under the sky There is you and I, you and I You and I, you and I

    (same thing as earlier)

Never too much Never too late Never turn-away Never say die Never let it slip away Never too much Never too late Never say die-never say never... Never never never never Never too much Never too late Never turn-away Never say die Never never never never never Never too much Never too late Never turn-away Never say die Never let it slip away Never let it slip away Never let it slip away

(all about being strong for the relationship and "never letting" it slip, die, turn-away, etc.)
