"Excuses" as written by and Jake Snider Erin Johnson....
Holes I could drop
Shake in my pocket,
They shake like you do.

Steps that you take
Bend and they break,
They break like I do.

Runnin' out of excuses
When we know what the truth is
I'm into you, I'm into you.

When you hear this song,
You'll say you knew all along
You're into me too, you're into me too.

The love you send
Sets me out my end.
Do you get my vibe too?

You held me on for so long
With what's a lie,
And what is true.

Runnin' out of excuses
When we know what the truth is;
I'm into you, I'm into you.

When you hear this song,
You'll say you knew all along;
You're into me too.

Black and white dress
Puts me into a trance
As I level as you.

First game of chance,
Ends in a loss,
I just lose it to you.

Runnin' out of excuses
When we know what the truth is;
I'm into you, I'm into you.

When you hear this song,
You'll say you knew all along;
You're into me too, you're into me too.

    Lyric CorrectionOfficial lyrics from MTB's website:

    Coins I could drop shake in my pocket,
    they shake like you do
    Steps that you take bend and they break,
    they break like I do

    Running out of excuses
    When we know what the truth is
    I’m into you
    When you hear this song,
    you’ll say you knew all along,
    you’re into me too

    The vibe you send sets me at my end,
    do you get my vibe too?
    You’ve held me on for so long
    with what’s a lie and what is true

    Running out of excuses
    When we know what the truth is
    I’m into you
    When you hear this song,
    you’ll say you knew all along,
    you’re into me too

    That black and white dress
    puts me into a trance
    as I memorize you
    If this game of chance
    ends in a loss
    I just lose it to you

    Running out of excuses
    When we know what the truth is
    I’m into you
    When you hear this song,
    you’ll say you knew all along,
    you’re into me too

    General CommentI think this song is about friends that have fallen for eachother and feel that deep sexual tension.
    Sounds like neither of them will bring their feelings up, perhaps they like it how it is. Flirting and sexual tension without acting on it.
    Sounds like people keep bringing up the obvious feelings for eachother, hence the line "running out of excuses, when we know what the truth is, I'm into you"
