Lyric CorrectionThe verse that is currently (???) is:

The curtain of wire may cover
    The setting of the sun
Take comfort my sisters and brothers
    The chicken man will come

General CommentThose lines mean the chicken man will come to save the day from unnamed villainy when all seems lost i.e. the "big" heroes have all been defeated. The song is very much an underdog story, for the short amount of lines that aren't calling names at our protagonist.
