give me a night worth forgetting with you.
—————————
swing the pendulum in front my head
so i don’t remember a thing.
—whoa you’re the prophet in the black book
of the organized religion of me.
i am the genius
well more the mad scientist of the chemicals that bend you.
oh
————————————————
permanently perplexed
permanently perplexed
the pills o.k.
but baby make me feel new.
oh
—————————————————-
ooo ooo darling i got a darkside
maybe my moods change.
when the head spins
give me a night worth forgetting with you.
ooo ooo darling i got a darkside
prototype of your dream-boy
& the head spins
give me a night worth forgetting with you
————————————————-
i find happiness in knowing that each one of these moments.
is somebody’s last.
oh, how you’re just ghosts with unfinished business.
channeled by the mediums of our hips.
—whoa they say the goat-songs half written.
& i got ya’ wax wings sweatin’
sure i’m ya’ lover.
on knees.
but it didn’t mean a thing.
——————
chorus.
—————-
testify like a lunatic;
“anyone’s my asylum, i guess my heads still sick.”
——————
chorus.

General CommentOkay, my guess as to what this song is about what have to be general madness, possibly a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde approach?
Correction on lyrics (again, these are most likely incorrect but it's what I hear)
    permanently perplexed
Said like he could care less
    the pills o.k.
but baby make me feel new.
    oh

ooo ooo darling i got a darkside
    maybe my moods change.
    when the head spins
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme a night worth forgetting with you.
    ooo ooo
    Darling i got a darkside
    prototype of your dream
    & the head spins
Gimme Gimme Gimme a night worth forgetting with you

Bus again, I'm most likely incorrect...
Would have to be one of my favorite songs by this wonderfully talented band! :-D
