Yeah
What you doing to me baby
Yeahh
I cant let you go

Even though you keeping me frustrated
It still feels so right
I try so hard not to be jaded
Every time you lie
Try so hard to
Get you off my mind
You know that I be running back to you
My love is blind
I know it aint right

It just ain't right
He won more time
Like there's too much to leave behind
Want to move on
But I cant

Chorus:
No I just cant let you go
Coz I been loving you too long
Take it back to how it was baby
You know I'm goin crazy
Oh I cant do this no more
Coz I just cant let you go
I keep on coming back for more
Told myself now its over
But I still love ya
I cant let you go

I don't think time will ever make it
No matter how hard I try
But you convince im mistaken
When you go and do the things you
We used to do
That made me fall for you
Then you turn around
And say something
That proves me right
baby this aint right

Chorus

I know I'm a fool
To think that I need you in my life
I should know better but
When im with you
I forget about the past
No, the fights we had dont matter
I know im just playin myself
But I don't care

I dont wanna let you go neither
To tell ya the truth mami I need ya
Anything to please ya
Body of a Diva
She hotter than a fever
Try to cool it down
Ice rocks on her finger
When I get upset or frustrated
She sing to me
Getting paid she aint gotta
Cook n clean for me
Tried to leave a couple times
But she came bak
Cant let you go
Im not ashamed to say that

No I just cant let you go
Coz I been loving you too long
Take it back to how it was baby
You know I'm goin crazy
Oh I cant do this no more
Coz I just cant let you go
I keep on coming back for more
Told myself now its over
But I still love ya
I cant let you go

No I just cant let you go
Coz I been loving you too long
Take it back to how it was baby
You know I'm goin crazy
Oh I cant do this no more
Coz I just cant let you go
I keep on coming back for more
Told myself now its over
But I still love ya
I cant let you go

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
