I don't understand
the touch of your hand
To where we should go
I really don't know
I'm broken inside
and I've got nowhere to hide
You've taken my eyes
and I can't disguise

You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You did, you did, you did
Unspoken desire
Unspoken desire
You set me on fire
You did, you did, you did

So hold my hand
You must understand
I'm poking inside
and I've got nowhere to hide
I'm not having fun
I think I should run

You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You did, you did, you did
Unspoken desire
Unspoken desire
You set me on fire
You did, you did, you did

I thought I was
much stronger than I am
I thought I was
much stronger than I am

You set me on fire
You set me on fire
Unspoken desire
You did, you did, you did

You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You set me on fire
You did, you did, you did

Why did I open up to you
when I was low
I want you to know
Why did I open up to you
when I was low

I think that you took
advantage of me
I think that you took
advantage of me

My InterpretationIm surprised no one has commented on this song yet? Its very moving especially when you have been involved in a situation where she has been. Basically i see this song as being betrayed by someone very close to you someone you trused (Lover, Best friend, family member). I like the way she says you set me on fire meaning as you burnt me quite interesting way to put it and i really like it. I have just broke off a friendship with my now ex best friend and this song explains exactly how im feeling. He was a huge part of my life he was like a brother to me yet betrayed my confidence all along he really set me on fire. I thought i could get through this yet it still hurts so much. Great song to get through the pain
