finally found a way back into your stare
And when I took you back you told me I was always there
Then you close your eyes and hide inside your head
And when you run away you told me I was better then

Said well, Rosary, we can find a way around
Even if you run away, I will find a way to hold you around.

We said let's go away to a place we thought we left
Where we can close our eyes and then pretend that we were kids
And if I fall away, you'll be my guiding eyes
Even if we run away, we'll find a place to hide

You said, well, Rosary, we can find a way around
Even if I run away, I will find a way to hold you around

Said, well, Rosary, we can find our way around
Even if we run away, we can find a way to hold you, hold you down
Hold you down.

Even if you run
Even if you run

They found me in a hole behind your house
A little dusty, shaken up, and hollowed out
I'll follow you to make sure you got home
Then I saw you had someone to hold you,

I was lost.

I said well, Rosary, we can find our way around
Even if you run away, I will find a way to hold you around

Said, well, Rosary, we can find a way around
Even if you run away, I will find a way to hold you, hold you down.

General CommentI found it a bit interesting how the lyrics kind of jump tense every once in a while. Or it could be my hearing the words wrong. Rocky relationship, one person going in and out, and the other accepting things as they come, up until the other person finds someone new. The person who was left alone believed the relationship would always be there, if they were in or if they were out, even though he was the person being left. He never believed she'd go so far as finding someone new. But she did, and he was "lost."

If the tense had anything to do with it, I'd say they go through that sort of thing a lot. Enough to be confused of where they stand at some points.
