"Heartsink" as written by Steven Ansell and Laura Carter....
The greatest let down least
(taste in my mouth, taste in my mouth)
A blind and leg routine
(waiting it out, waiting it out)
They're wearing me out with their happy town lies
(small town weather, small town weather)
The ordinary sound of the ordinary life
(living here forever, living here forever)

We've heard it all ten-thousand times
Can you feel your heart sink? I can feel mine
I can feel mine

Inch by inch we fight
(never satisfied, never satisfied)
We're leaving it behind
(Doubts go outside, doubts go outside)
We're burn ourselves out, just to calm ourselves down
(Space to recover, space to recover)
A little escape from the weight of this town
(Need to find another, need to find another)

We've heard it all ten-thousand times
Can you feel your heart sink? I can feel mine
I can feel mine

And we'll sacrifice, for the opposites
because there must be more, and we know it.

We've heard it all ten-thousand times(and we'll sacrifice for the opposites)
Can you feel your heart sink? I can feel mine(because there must be more, and we know there is)
and we know it, and we know it

General CommentNo comments? awesome song off the new album. One correction though, "The greatest let down least/(Taste in my mouth)" should be "The great let down leaves a/(Taste in my mouth)" if I'm hearing it correctly, plus it makes more sense.

On to the meaning. I feel it's about someone who's searching for whatever will fulfill their life (religion/love/success/etc.) and they go from town to town being let down from all the happy lies people have told him regarding adventures. In the end, even though he still hasn't found it, he still knows its out there
