"The Last Fight" as written by Don Gilmore, Michael David Thomas, Michael Kieron Paget, Jason James and Matthew Tuck....
I don't wanna stand beside you
I don't wanna try and feel the pain you're going through
'Til the death you've seen is through

Cold sweats, hallucinations
I wanna scream to show
The hell I'm going through
The addiction's taking you

Can you see me through bloodshot eyes (bloodshot eyes)
Should I fight for what is right or let it die?
Now I'm choking on force fed lies
Do I fight or let it die?

I will fight, one more fight
Don't break down in front of me
I will fight, one more fight
I am not the enemy
I will try one last time
Are you listening to me?
I will fight, the last fight
I am not your enemy

Everyone is sick of caring
No silver lining on the cloud that covers you
Let it pour and soak you through

No hope, just desperation
So sit and wait for death
And pray it takes you soon
The addiction's taking you

Can you see me through bloodshot eyes (bloodshot eyes)
Should I fight for what is right or let it die?
Now I'm choking on force fed lies
Do I fight or let it die?

I will fight, one more fight
Don't break down in front of me
I will fight, one more fight
I am not the enemy
I will try one last time
Are you listening to me?
I will fight, the last fight
I am not your enemy

Can you see me through bloodshot eyes (through bloodshot eyes)
Should I fight another night or let it die?
Now I'm choking on every lie
Do I fight or let it die?

I will fight, one more fight
Don't break down in front of me
I will fight, one more fight
I am not the enemy.
I will try one last time
Are you listening to me?
I will fight, the last fight
I am not your enemy

I am not your, not your enemy!
I am not your enemy
I am not your enemy

General CommentStraight out of a UG interview:
And "The Last Fight" is about drug addiction?:

MATT: "The Last Fight" is a song about drug addiction, but comes from the point of view of the person who's trying to help this person, and they just keep getting their help thrown back in their face. The song "The Last Fight" is a bold way of saying "This is the last time I'm going to help you. If you throw it back in my face one more time, you can just fucking do what you wanna do". It doesn't come from the view of the addict, but from the view of the person who's trying to help, yet keeps getting it thrown back in their face.

General Commentand i think this song may be like about drugs or something. like someone got involved in something wrong and as much as you love and care about them you have to be against them because what theyre doing is wrong. do you agree?

General CommentI think one thing that the page editor and one of the commenters missed was when he says "I will fight, will you fight?" Instead of "I will fight one more fight" everytime. To me it shows that he's asking the person if they are ready to fight this. He will help fight the addiction along side them. It's just one word but to me it means a lot in the song.

General CommentI think it's about trying to help someone you see that is going through some problems but they don't want you help or are in denile and just take their anger out on you b/c they feel like you think something is wrong with them. but that's just me, and the song is kickass

General CommentI think this song is definitely about drugs/someone going through a hard time and he's saying that he'll stand by their side.

The acoustic version of this song is so amazingly gorgeous.

General CommentI believe this song has more to do with changing your own bad habits and references the struggles you are going to do through in order to fix yourself. I know I personally view this song as very impactful, because they're are many things I want to change and I blame one addiction which is holding me back from achieving what I know I can. It is going to be a fight and I need to come out victorious in my battle.
