I hear them calling,
the damned are calling
From this hell on earth

Their voices flooding my ears
I hear them calling
Their voices flooding my ears
From this hell on earth

I sit back watching above
sacrifice would mean relief from these times

We all hold the power to trust and have faith in ourselves
We all hold the power to trust and have faith in ourselves
We all hold the power to trust and have faith in ourselves

But just like a coward we flee from our hearts
Now is the time to believe in yourself
Have no fear how others think of you or will judge you
For your greatness will silence them all

Unbreakable
Unbreakable

Now is the time to believe
Now is the time to believe in yourself
Now is the time together
Now is the time to believe (unbreakable)
Now is the time together
Now is the time to believe (immortal)

I sit back watching above,
sacrifice would mean relief

^Because all religious Dogmatic beliefs aren't just childhood delusions that people need to outgrow.

This song is about self affirmation; how you perceive life determines how life comes across. If you have the confidence in your ability to live day-to-day and survive, then you're unbreakable.

Study some Freud, the cd is called ID for reason's sake.

Its time to start trust our real power, we are what we are waiting for. We don't need governments or BANKS to tell us right from wrong, we should already know it and be able to do it in freedom. We need to voice ourselves for our rights, to be given the truth to many things and be tell us the truth of our existence. The time is VERY near where you will have to show your new, higher-self.

A Scientologist (or whatever the hell BornOfMaya is talking about) telling a Christian that their beliefs are silly is like a...wait, no analogy is necessary. Wow.

Contrary to common belief not ALL music is related to religion, Christianity in particular. This album has close to nothing to do with Christianity, although i see where you are coming from. This entire album is about the idea of ID or identity. This song in particular speaks about ones self empowerement, becoming unbreakable. "We all hold the power to trustand have faith in ourselves."

When the fuck did this album have anything to do with religion, let alone Christianity? Stop reading between the lines, folks.

Thank you for having common sense, FocusShift.

"Christ" is not going to save us, we can't just believe in ourselves then wait for "Christ" to save us. We have to save ourselves. The Earth is already Ascending and the people are finally waking up to the lies that the government has shoved down our throats.

The only people that will be coming, are the extraterrestrial aliens who were always waiting for us to wake up and evolve to break away from these chains, and so that they can land and experience Earths amazing Ascension.

Only then we will be able to be freed from duality and be able to become a galactic society in union with the Galactic Federation. Don't believe me? Well you better start researching.

Peace, love and light to all.

It seems like there is a big Christian element with the lyrics in this album.

This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
