"Once" as written by Francis Eg White and Cathy Dennis....
Here we are, a careful distance
Here's my heart, what's left of it
In this town, I used to listen
Once, Once, Yeah

I had hope, blind faith
had as much as you can take

I'm only gonna let you kill me once
I'm only gonna let you kill me then some
I'm only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once

Ashes burn the morning after
Only know I'm here to stay
I was so, I let you see me
That was dumb, but that's OK
Tripping down to your place
What is love anyway

I'm only gonna let you kill me once

I'm only gonna let you kill me then some

I'm only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
I'm only gonna let you kill me

Who or whatever you do
Don't let anyone love you
Touch them where it hurts
And then you'll leave

I'm only gonna let you kill me once

I'm only gonna let you kill me then some

I'm only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah

I'm only gonna let you kill me

General CommentI like the song and I don't really care if Diana Vickers came out of the x factor. I think it's about not letting anyone hurt her more than once because they're not worth it. Perhaps she also questions her faith in people and what love is about. It has to do with betrayal and the fact that some people hurt others and they don't approach them easily which results in pain

General CommentHey, I heard that Vickers was going to take an Indie acoustic approach on her debut album. I thought that I MIGHT just buy an album from an X factor product. Turns out that this song is only marginally better than any Leono Lewis song. I have an eclectic music taste but x factor crap is not a genre I'd bother listening to.

Simon Cowell needs to stop ruining music with these manufactured pop stars.
