"Giants among Common Men" as written by Michael Spearman, Matthew Scarpelli, Mike Wellnitz, Scott Daby, Chance Medeiros and Aaron Pauley....
It’s all the same, nothing's changed
Again, I find myself in the current
As I am gracelessly tossed around and around
Your words echo and your voice resounds
When we awake from our sleep
We’ll know that this is where we’re supposed to be
With walls, and walls, and walls
Of water for miles

Just know that
We are so fragile
And easily broken
But I'll try my hardest
To put you back together
If you do the same for me

For now just sleep my sweet
Don't worry about what tomorrow brings
So let’s pretend that we're giants among common men
Because we’ve never been taller than our demons within

We are so fragile
And easily broken
But I'll try my hardest
To put you back together
If you do the same for me

We are so fragile
And easily broken
But I'll try my hardest
To put you back together
If you do the same for me

Why did you have to leave me
To fend for myself?
Am I such a terrible man?
Am I such a terrible, terrible man?
I am such a terrible man!
Such a violent and hostile man!

My InterpretationI kinda take this as a betrayal of some kind. Whether it be family or friend, we all get betrayed and hurt in our lives. The chorus I take as him speaking to a close friend/family member of his emotions due to the betrayal. Where he's asking if he's a terrible man, than admitting that he is indeed a terrible man, I think is saying how he gave in to his emotions. Anger, hurt, sadness, all negative emotions, making one a negative person. That's just my interpretation of it..

Song Meaning"It’s all the same, nothing's changed. Again, I find myself in the current. As I am gracelessly tossed around and around, your words echo and your voice resounds:"
--Oh not this problem again. Its all the same. I find myself trending in the same problems you blame me for. I am tossed around by how much you repeat that I am this, or that.]
“When we awake from our sleep, we’ll know that this is where we’re supposed to be,
with walls, and walls, and walls of water for miles.”
--"I dont know how I feel right now. I need some time away from this problem to think. Its just too much for me. We just need our time alone and it will all be clear soon what we want or need to be."
"Just know that: We are so fragile, and easily broken, but I'll try my hardest to put you back together if you do the same for me."
--We hurt the same, and I know your pain. So dont me so hard on me, because i want to help you, help me.
"For now just sleep my sweet. Don't worry about what tomorrow brings. So let’s pretend that we're giants among common men, because we’ve never been taller than our demons within."
--Dont worry for now though. Tomarrow is a new day. Can we just forget all the bad and think of the good? Because our sins show more then our grace.
Why did you have to leave me to fend for myself? Am I such a terrible man? Am I such a terrible, terrible man? I am such a terrible man! Such a violent and hostile man!
--Do you beleieve that leaving me will solve the problem? That leaving will cure your future issues? Do we all not sin? Was I really that horrible of a person to you? I am such a horrible person I guess.
