duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck-a duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

we didn't see it coming
and so we crouched down low
it smelled a lot like somethin'
but it moved super slow

we ducked and then we darted
and rolled on down the road
we stopped before we started
and back and forth we go

undid the deed
not for us to say
we talk the talk
then we walked away

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck-a duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck-a duck duck

we hit the ground a-runnin'
and ran around the pole
we didn't stop for nothin'
'cause it was way too cold

took all the time we wanted
and then we took it home
we turned and then we're taunted
around the world we roam

we hit the wall
then we hit the hay
the orders tall
it's the price to pay

and we looked into the void
and we walked on through the door
they looked at us annoyed
and this is what they swore

we all new how to play
we understood the deal
we do it everyday
and this is how it feels

it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
IT PACKS A WALLOP!

it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
IT PACKS A WALLOP!

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck-a duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

that's when the red sea parted
and went from hot to cold
so fresh back when it started
and now it's growing mold

that's when the trouble started
at least that's we're told
they kept it safely guarded
from new to two days old

ducks eat the bread
and they eat for free
they tap the head
yellin' goose at me

and we looked into the void
and we walked on through the door
they looked at us annoyed
and this is what they swore

they walked around the group
and taped us on our heads
we listened for the goose
but duck was what they said

it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
IT PACKS A WALLOP!

it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
it packs a wallop
IT PACKS A WALLOP!

duck duck duck duck duck-a duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck duck-a duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

duck duck duck duck duck duck-a duck-a duck duck duck duck duck duck
goose

My InterpretationI heard this song on what was self described as a Native American radio station. Honestly, I swear this entire song is literally about the children's game Duck Duck Goose. Or at least it uses the the game and places it next to life as a metaphor. But I'm pretty sure it is just about the game with no real deeper meaning. If that's true, I honestly love it even more.
