"Superglue" as written by Eddie Argos and Dyan Genevra Valdes....
Nothing lasts forever
Without superglue
Hold yourself together
With superglue

When I look at you
I wish I'd used superglue
Super, super, superglue
Super, super, superglue

Sometimes, I don't feel so clever
Superglue
I wish we'd stuck together
Superglue
Line up in order of size
This is not a bonding exercise

When I look at you
I wish I'd used superglue
Super, super, superglue
Super, super, superglue

When I look at you (Super, super)
I wish I'd used superglue (Superglue)
When I look at you (Super, super)
I wish I'd used superglue (Superglue)

Superglue! Superglue! Superglue! Superglue! Superglue!

Song MeaningAn answer to "Vaseline" by Elastica, a sexually charged ode to petroleum jelly product Vaseline ("When you're stuck like glue / When you need some goo / If it's hot like you / Do you need a clue"). The French Resistance goes the "glue" route, filled with regret that it hadn't been used instead. Dig the reference to and musical quote from Elastica's "Line Up" in and after the lyric "Line up in order of size".

    In Eddie's words:
If Elastica had used superglue instead of vaseline (or for that matter, heroin) maybe they would have stuck together.
