"Epic Holiday" as written by Tom Delonge and Adam Willard....
And the brightest sign, it is full of holes
And it's full of paying lost violent criminals
With a little fate
And the worst of lies
With a love so deep its war with endless fire inside
Go right back to the line

Every single day, every nine to five
Ever body works it hard, but then we finally die
And there's no remorse
Or the slightest sound
We're forever cool with the way it all breaks up and down

Let's start a riot
Nobody's right
Nobody's wrong
Life's just a game it's just one epic holiday
However far this takes us along
Take us away, it's just one epic holiday

On the Sunday rain, like a lonely ghost
And the furthest point from here is right outside the door

Open up your eyes
Take a breath if you will
And the sun is still alive even though it's hard to tell

Let's start a riot
Nobody's right
Nobody's wrong
Life's just a game, it's just one epic holiday
However far this takes us along
Take us away, it's just one epic holiday

Nobody's right
Nobody's wrong
Life's just a game, it's just one epic holiday
However far this takes us along
Take us away, it's just one epic holiday

Let's start a riot

Let's start a riot
Nobody's right
Nobody's wrong
Life's just a game, it's just one epic holiday
However far this takes us along
Take us away, it's just one epic holiday

General CommentI think the basic meaning of the song is to live a little, life is one "epic holiday" so live it like it is one.

General CommentAgreed. Our time is borrowed and we need to make the best of it. Uplifting and humbling at the same time. Genius.

My OpinionAbsolutely adore this song, first time I heard it I fell in love with it :D. Although the lyrics are a little bit cheesy, the message is clear and it's brilliant.

You only live once and live it to the full. Love it.

General Commentonce again i have a totally different opinion.

i know tom is all about scifi and supernateral stuff,
so i think this song is about how are spirits come down to earth to expereience what it's like
    and have a "holiday"
and then eventually we die and we shouldn't worry about the little rights and wrongs,
because there is a much bigger picture after death.

General CommentThis is one of my favorites on the new album. Yet it feels like it would fit in better on the I-Empire album next to Everything Magic and Love Like Rockets (has kind of the same sound). Still a great song and the intro is absolutely epic. I fell you will be hearing it used for a TV commercial or in a Movie, just wait and see...

General CommentCatchy song. The intro sounds like something from the 80's scene.

My InterpretationWhat i got from this incredible song was that you only have one life and you've gotta live it to fullest.
I mean what do you do on holidays? You get with the people you love and just have a great time. Tom is just trying to say that why do you only have to do this on certain days, why not every day of your life?
