We've reached the crossroads of what makes truth and lies.
No more time will pass by, we need to draw the line.
All the things you did, they left me so betrayed.
The words you never said now begin to fade away.

You have a way of hiding everything in your life.
I can't feel the way that I used to,
You're not the person I once knew.
It's not too late to escape this fate,
Tell me what your secret is.

Out of time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.
Time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.

We've reached the crossroads of what makes truth and lies.
No excuses this time, we need to draw the line.
The act is slowly fading, it's time to step in the spotlight.
No escaping now, there is no place to hide.

Out of time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.
Time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.

Tell me what your secret is.
Tell me what your secret is.

We've reached the crossroads of where your secrets lie.
No one left to confide and now you've crossed the line.

This is your crossroad, this is where your secrets die.
This is your crossroad, this is where your secrets die.

Out of time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go...

Out of time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.
Time, when your life was on the line
When you start to see the signs, don't let go-
Just let your wings unfold.

Tell me what your secret is and now you've crossed the line.

Just in case people take the no comment thing as a bad thing... it's a great song, kind of awe-inspiring in message actually.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
