i'm not sure, and its gray
as i trek on the dry,
silted,
bottom of a riverbed.
i closed one eye to hide,
and kept one eye open to keep watch.
bringing my breating to a halt,
and loosing much of my warmth
my tounge seemed to utter two voices
as i recall, one wanting us found.
But, i can't remember. i forget so well.
Down in their cellars
each family found shelter
(to out last the weather.)
In spite of my knocking (and shouting)
they replied, "we don't have room!"
So hanging like a chrysalis
the blossoms spun themselves shut.
But the spring light, like a bell sound in the tower of the sky,
will awaken all that sleeps!
tell the sea why its salt.
tell the wind why it blows.
give reason to the rain as it falls to the ground.
and please don't forget me, like i forget you.
you said that while my faith is wax,
Your always faithful!
