"Easy To Love" as written by and Samuel Henry Lockwood Hayley Frances Mcglone....
Well I was the one who showed you the sky,
But you brought it down, down to my thighs.
Sadly believed every word
I didn't mean about loving darkness

And there it is now, he enters the room.
It guts like fish to see how he's grown.
So we go out onto the town to mess around.
Ooh, get my groove on, mess around.

Well you were the one who thought it was funny
That half of the world had never seen money.
Shimmy-shuffle round, break it all down.
It does never come to an end, as long as you can help yourself.

There it is now, she enters the room.
It guts like a fish to see how she's grown.
Saw me go blind, step out of line,
You know I can't help myself.
When you get your groove on I go blind.
When you get your groove on I go blind.
When you get your groove on I go blind.

So, let me go out into the evil world that you know,
Where my baby cries, but I cut the ties.
Oh, let me go out into the sinful world that you know,
That you really love.

Just let me be easy to love.
Just let me be easy to love.

When you get your groove on, yeah I go blind.
When you get your groove on, yeah I lose my mind.
When you get your groove on the whole world goes blind.
So get your groove on girl, we'll go wild.

My InterpretationI think it's about a breakup and going out and seeing that person and it hurts to see them having a good time without you and you're pretending to have a good time without them too but it hurts so damn much.
and you wish it wasn't over and maybe can't see yourself moving on hence "please let me be easy to love"
because you lost yourself in the relationship.

General Commentyeah, i agree with dreamhotel in the storytelling with the night on the town and seeing the ex. It's supported by the line "saw me go blind, step out of line, can't help myself" a reference to the girl getting drunk and doing something innapropraite. blind being drunk. "when you get your groove on, i go blind". she can't help but over drink seeing her ex having such a good time.

My InterpretationMy interpretation of this song is that its about an alcoholic who gave up something to continue drinking. Either a husband/wife, child or both.

"Sadly believed every word I didn't mean about loving darkness" - Darkness is the alcohol or drunkenness and defending the behavior though they secretly hate it, but can't stop. Addiction to the alcohol.

And there it is now, he/she enters the room
It guts like a fish to see how s/he's grown - Talking about the husband or son and as life continues without them..

"It never comes to an end as long as you can help yourself" - Keep the "party" going and stay in the drunken state to not have to come to terms with reality of what you have lost.

Saw me go blind, step out of line, you know I can't help myself - The behavior that lost them their family continues.

So, let me go out into the evil world that you know- The urgency to go out and drink.
Where my baby cries, but I cut the ties - Letting love ones go
Oh, let me go, let me go, let me go out into the sinful world that you know
    -Urgency again

Just let me be easy to love - Wishing they didn't have this problem and that they were "easy to love".

    Again, this is my interpretation.

This song could also be about a first love and how you just can't always let them go in your heart..
