My soldiers march tonight
In the city of your dreams.
This beautiful army
are tearing at your seams.

Down on your knees,
giving us disease.
I'll take it all,
everything I see.
Oh cant you hear this symphony?

Behind these walls,
you watch it fall,
as our unions crumble into hell.

It's not the end of the world now baby.
So come and dry those tears.
It's not the end of the world now darling.
But I can see it from here.

Oh baby dont cry tonight
cause you tears, they will bleed.
Underneath this blood red room(?),
I'm deafened by your screams.

Watch what you say,
I will betray.
My promises, they will decay.
I'll make amends,
but not today.

Behind these walls,
you watch it fall.
as our unions crumble into hell.

It's not the end of the world now baby.
So come and dry those tears.
It's not the end of the world now darling.
But I can see it from here.

It's not the end of the world now baby.
So come and dry those tears.
It's not the end of the world now darling.
But I can see it from,
I can see it from here.
I can see it from here.

It's not the end of the world now baby.
So come and dry those tears.
It's not the end of the world now darling.
But I can see it from here. (x2)

General CommentWe trace the sun across the sky
And we laugh till we cry
Always so hard to say goodbye (good bye)
And we all sit round here in our home town
It's so good like this, these are times we'll miss
The memories, I hope they'll never fade

this is definately my favorite part of the song...i think that everyone who has spent a meaningful summer with their closest friends can relate to wat these lyrics are saying

The memories, I hope they'll never fade
Glowing embers lie across the sky

This verse reminds me of a long distance love I once had and when I visited him and vice versa and when we had to leave each other. *sigh* its always so hard to say goodbye, but we left on good terms, so im glad there.

The Lost Prophets are what they make it - I think it'd sound so crap if any other band attempted to sing it.
Ian Watkins is brilliant, but he should really stop trying to put on American accents at shows. lol.
I heart this song so much.

General CommentThis song's about growing up and having you leave your friends and adolescent fun behind - ie. going to college or moving to the city. It's the last time he'll see his friends, and the summer's extra-special.
