I've been so uncomfortable,
since i misplaced my bed.
When i inhaled, i was floating,
but i blew out the stars instead.
So find your way home in the dark.

It's not the drinks that get me,
it's the waking up.
I see whatcha done,
with the help of the sun.

I'm tripping out like Syd Barret,
I'm singing loud, but it makes no sense.
I'm getting down like Kurt Cobain,
and Shannon Hoon singing there's "No Rain".
I'm winding down to delete today,
I take just one more hit to kill the pain.
Robert Plant, won't you lay me down?
Help me stand straight in the next town.

I've been unpredictable,
since i erased my head.
And as i inhaled far too long,
the stars were bouncing as they said.
"Don't you dare try to shake this off".

Well you are all that i have to thank,
for listening to the songs that i sing.
I wish i could, but i cannot scream,
so please accept my apologies.
I'm still a mess, I'm still rock and roll,
cut down the drinking, but I'll share this bowl.
Well I'm just thinking for my children's sake,
I cannot dig myself an early grave.

You're like a wheel,
Bring me up, when I'm down.

Copied these lyrics off his myspace after realising that there's no real lyics posted on the net for his songs.

I love Michael Froh / Dear Solace. Too bad nobody really knows of him.

I love this song towards the end and the chorus. Can really see his meaning behind the song.

"...Now i wrote a poem a long time ago about an experience i watched my friend have with Salvia, and it pretty much made little sense to most people who read it. But i titled in Drunken Sun, and wrote a song from there, that i really loved. " Quote from Michael Froh off his Myspace on his meaning of the song.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
