We're up 'till three
Awake until the stars sleep
Here we go, the same parade
Of why can't you be more like me
But it always ends the same

Maybe in your eyes we're the same
Maybe in your eyes I should change
But I'll never be the same
Picture perfect me that you see

And maybe someday
He'll seem so much more like me
And even though you run instead
Of all those things you should've said
It still always ends the same

Maybe in your eyes we're the same
Maybe in your eyes I should change
But I'll never be the same
Picture perfect me that you...

I'm perfect only in your eyes
Just like you, so empty inside
I'm perfect only in your eyes
Just like you, so empty inside

Maybe in your eyes we're the same
Maybe in your eyes I should change
But I'll never be the same
Picture perfect me that you see

General CommentOk. I think I got this one. It is a father talking to his son. "why can't you be more like me? but it always end the same." father wants his son to be like him but son's are very often contrary or very different from their father's anyway. And every son in perfect in their father's eyes. (well alot anyways.) Hope I helped. It was an incomplete thought so add to it please!
