I've talked the talk, I've walked the walk,
It's taken ten fucking years,
For them to see I don't need their approval.
I've paid the piper,
I've stayed my course,
Lived chomping at the bit.
With only blood, sweat, and tears to adhere to

Open your eyes and see,
That it's so menacing,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.
Give 'til there's nothing left,
Value in every breath,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.

Open your eyes and see,
That it's so menacing,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.
Give 'til there's nothing left,
Value in every breath,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.

Breakdown?

Open your eyes and see,
That it's so menacing,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.
Give 'til there's nothing left,
Value in every breath,
You need to realize that bleeding is a luxury.
It's a luxury,

I agree this could be viewed as Atreyu telling off the ex-fans that now bash them for their change in sound. But I do think it goes much further than just talking to that specific crowd... It isn't a "fuck you" just to the fans, as xxw1ckedxx stated, but instead I think it is aimed at everyone who has doubted him, put him down or otherwise down talked what he wanted out of life. Since they started in 98 and were independent for 2 years til 2000... the 10 years that hes "talked the talk and walked the walk" not meaning acted like he was the shit but did EXACTLY what he needed to do to get where he needed to be. He stayed the course and ATTACKED his dream until he got it. Saying that he literally had NOTHING but his blood, sweat, and tears to keep him going.

To me it is a motivational speak to his listeners saying that whatever you do, there will be people against you. fuck them. Stay the course, go for what you want most in life. And while some might not see the worth of what you're doing... there is "value in every breath"

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
