Let’s go, somewhere where nobody knows our names
We’ll lay low, while we reminisce
About the moments and seasons that we both really miss
Well if life’s just a book, then this is just another page
And every lesson we’re to learn, I guess it all just comes with age
But I hope to God you find your way…

Well we’d walk on these tracks that seem to go on for miles
Step back and watch the scenery pass by for a while
Sit on the swings and crack jokes at all the kids
As they play their stupid games, but I’m sure we all did

And those swingsets, swinging in the breeze of Tehachapi
Remind me not to blink, I don’t want to miss, I don’t want to miss a thing
So let’s go, somewhere where nobody knows our face
We’ll lay low, and drink to the days, and drink to the games that we’d play..

And I hope, you find that home you spoke of
When we we’re all alone
Sitting on the parking block in the parking lot

If you really want to know The only drug that I have taken
Is one that you’ve prescribed
You see I lost myself in the depths of your ocean eyes..

My InterpretationI think (at least to me) the lyrics are trying to say that theres this boy who really likes this girl, and that even the simplest of things i.e. 'walking on train tracks' or 'swinging' are taken as precious gifts when your around people that you love. It also kinda feels like theres probably alot going on in the girls life, and the boy is just trying to do anything he can to take her mind off of it.

    It's a really sweet song=)
