Deep
Deep in the tallest clouds
A man lost his way
A 69 Chardonney
Sitting beside
There lays a traveling man
Who fell from the skies
Selling some piece of mind

A man
Swimming with sharks in his glass
Can't find his way
Convinced to the empty space
A traveling salesman
Fills in the gaps
He sells him the tools
To measure into the dark(?)
A need divine (?)
Selling the distance between us and sky
Selling the distance between us and sky

Selling the distance between us and sky
Selling the distance between us and sky

General CommentVery Waitsy sounding song. :)
The guitar at the end reminds me of Marc Ribot's random jazz stabbings.
    Fantastic tho.

Guess it's about a Salesman who sales something to someone who is looking for patterns.
Maybe even about religion, the Salesman being a holy man of some sort.

General CommentThis song seems to be about someone "selling" a religion/belief to someone. "A travelling man who fell from the skies" makes me think of either an angel or a prophet... and "selling some piece of mind.....Fills in the gaps" convinces me that this man brought a mindset, belief, or even an entire religion which he helped non-believers see "the distance between us and the sky" or what we need to do to get to heaven.
