I said I love you, said I want you, said I need you more.
You watched me walk away as I walked through the front door.
And not a single word, a mutter, or a melody.
You gave up, you gave up, you gave up on me.

What have you done?
You stopped the beats girl, beats girl,
And now I swear I’ve lost the world that I live for.
I’ll say its white, I’ll say its black, and that’s what I fuckin’ mean.
So tell me something that just might add up to anything.

And your eyes tell the story of the worst day,
And my eyes were the first thing that sold me.
So you say it, you say you’re sincere.
You’re the queen of the liars, a sucker my dear.

You said you said it, you did it, you left it.
You said you want it, you did it, you got it.
It’s alright to say that you’re sorry.
It’s okay, I’ll say that I’m sorry.

You said you said it, you did it, you left it.
You said you want it, you did it, you got it.
It’s alright to say that you’re sorry.
It’s okay, I’ll say that I’m sorry.

Be like that, and now you’ll be like this.
I start to turn around, I swear l’d never miss.
I’m missing every way, I’m missing what you say,
Then you said ‘Like you mean it’, as you step away.

The story was the ‘live like I want to’
But we all know the space far between us.
You give what you give and you got what you got
You take what you’ve taken, you’ve taken a lot.

No more right kiss, singing with your soft lips,
And no more long trips laying down, hip to hip.
No more back-to-back, ‘bout to head, basics
If that’s the way it is, I’m feeling so wasted.

So do what you’ll do,
Say what you’ll say.
You’ve done what you’ve done,
You’ve thrown it away.
You did what you did,
You say what you’ll say,
And now that it’s done, I’m feeling so wasted.

So do what you’ll do,
Say what you’ll say.
You’ve done what you’ve done,
You’ve thrown it away.
You did what you did,
You say what you’ll say,
And now that it’s done, I’m feeling so wasted.

You said you said it, you did it, you left it.
You said you want it, you did it, you got it.
It’s alright to say that you’re sorry.
It’s okay, I’ll say that I’m sorry.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
