"Fight For This Love" as written by Andre Darrell Merritt, Stephen Alan Kipner and Wayne Wilkins....
Too much of anything can make you sick
Even the good can be a curse (curse)
Makes it hard to know which road to go down
Knowing too much can get you hurt

Is it better? Is it worse?
Always sitting in reverse
It's just like we're going backwards

I know where I want this to go
We're driving fast but lets go slow
What I don't wanna do is crash no

Just know you're not in this thing alone
There's always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we're growing apart
Let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quiting's out of the question
When it gets tough, gotta fight some more

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
If it's' worth having, it's worth fighting for (Oh)

Now everyday ain't gon' be no picnic
Love ain't no walk in the park
All you can do is make the best of it now
Can't be afraid of the dark

Just know you're not in this thing alone
There's always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we're growing apart
Let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quiting's out of the question
When it gets tough, gotta fight some more

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
If it's worth having, it's worth fighting for (Oh)

I don't know where we're heading
I'm willing and ready to go

We've been driving so fast
We just need to slow down
And just roll

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quiting's out of the question
When it gets tough, gotta fight some more

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
If it's worth having, it's worth fighting for (Oh)

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love
It's worth having, it's worth fighting for (Oh)

Song MeaningI think this Cheryl Cole song is amazing. Totally addictive in my opinion.
I reckon it's about her being in a relationship with a guy and it doesn't seem to be working out, so they have to 'fight for this love.'

General CommentJust for the record, this song isn't about her and Ashley because she didn't write it and therefore this song can't have any meaning for Cheryl Cole... like the rest of her songs really.

General CommentThis song is about when Cheryl was going through a hard time like with Ashley cheating on her and everything she said she just had to fight for the love and pull through because she knew she still loved him. Shes saying because what having is worth fighting for basically Ashley was worth having so he is worth fighting for... hope this helps xxxxx

My OpinionLike the song, love Cheryl, dislike the video.
I'd prefer if she doesn't fight this hard, especially when she seems to be so sad.
Watching the video saddens me. Maybe it's because of the make-up?But all I see is uncertainty and sadness in her eyes. If you have to fight, fight more fiercely. But what's the point when that blind-man (to me, he's dead already)cheated twice? Wait, I know the point. I know why I don't think it's worthy for her to fight any longer, because he is the one who've lost, he's totally a loser, why fight if he's already lost?
True that we should always fight for love, we should trust love. I believe all Cheryl fans would love to fight with her against all odds, all rumors, anything. But it isn't about her with Ashley or not, it's about her being happy or not. We all love her smile. I know the decision is tough, how much she still loves the man, but I really think getting divorce and move on is the best way to make her smile and happiness last.
Keep the love for a better, luckier man please.

General Commenteven though Cheryl didn't write the song, she could still perform it so passionately because of what the lyrics meant to her

General CommentI love this song. I find every emotion in this song that's why I'm crazy about it. The song was written about a real event. Cheryl tried to save his relationship. She really love her husban ( Ashley Cole-football player who plays in Chelsea Fc.) but unfortunately, this feeling was unrequited. They divorced one years later...
