"Powerless" as written by Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd and Michael Ivins....
Honey, you're just paranoid
You should do what you enjoy
No one is ever really powerless
That's what she said when she gave me a kiss
No one is ever really powerless
Now I think I know what that really is

It only happens if you try
Pain and pleasure both get you high
No one is ever really powerless
That's what she said, now I can't forget
No one is ever realy powerless
Now I think I know what that really is

General CommentSUCH a good song....the meanings is obvious but i felt i had to leave my love for this song. the meaning is simple but poweful. the bass line is mystical, and makes me neck tense up, the guitar part makes me want to shake.i cant explain it. i love this song.fuck.all of it.winding in and out of musical fury and exhaustion. unbelievable . i love it.lovelovelove.the end..coming out of tune.fadeing into the clouds.shit.

My InterpretationI don't know if this song is as easy to understand as it seems. I mean, obviously, this guy's girlfriend (maybe mother) is trying to tell him that he's not as powerless as he seems, and that he should strive for success. But the guy doesn't really believe her. But the question is, who's right? Is the guy just paranoid or is he onto something?
