Here, I'm a stranger in love
With kindness, in love with your
Kindness
Home, you're the scent of home
When your near me, I'm home when
You're near me

So close, so far and so familiar
Is where you end
And where you came from

Sweet, as they fall from your lips
Like snowflakes, they fall lik
e the
Snowflakes
Dream, and the deeper you dream
You are closer to home
You are closer

General CommentOne of the delicious, mindbending paradoxes of Christianity: When you're confronted with something without beginning or end you can neither be closer or further away from it at any point. The band's name is from C.S. Lewis, so I suspect the inspiration for this is from the passage in The Four Loves that discusses the unconditionality of God's love.

I'm always afraid to write music that's so simple lyrically without rhyme, but this is a good example of how to do that successfully.
