"Stay With Me" as written by Barlowgirl ., Barlowgirl ., Barlowgirl ., Barlowgirl . and Barlowgirl .....
Hopeless, getting through this night
And life is not dying in this fight
I'm begging you to deliver me ooh ooh ooh
Confused why you won't take this pain from me

My steps never felt so hard
The end never look so far but
If you won't take me out
Then please take me through this

Stay with me so I won't leave
And make me see that this is not forever
'Cause all I need is your love pulling me

What is the reason for this night
Is hope found in fullness with no light
Does strength grow in our greatest fears
God I pray something good will come from this pain

With you here I know
I don't go alone
I am yours and so
Through the fire I'll go

General CommentTo me this song is about knowing that God doesn't always take us out of our problems.
Becoming a Christian doesn't mean your life is going to be easy.

We'll go through hard times, but God doesn't always remove us, because sometimes he wants to do something through us, and use these times to produce something good in us.

There's a promise that He's ALWAYS with us. He stays with us.

General Commentwhat i get from this song is that sometimes what we think is bad for us is actually what's best for us. we need to get ourselves out of this worldly definition of "blessed". when God blesses us, He draws us closer to him. riches, fame, fortune, or even just plain security are tenuous and don't last. the only thing that does last is our relationship with God and so that is the only true way we can be blessed.
