I woke up screaming "how the hell am I to breathe without you here?"
We live in lies, we speak in stero but the signals never clear
Every song that we sang will remind me to breathe
Every time that we ran I sleep out on the street
I never thought we would get this far you know it
Still keep this boy in check for the moment

Give it up, just leave and walk away
This can't be the only thing that keeps me singing
And when you said

I woke up in my clothes
Can't remember last night, dreaming of the lonely tear drops
And I hope you never go out without a bang
18 is broken, ment for the hopeless
Whats a scar before it's moment
So here's a toast for every kid, who lives for every night
Not the morning after it

Oh Cali speaks, I hear her words but it's so far away from home
I don't need eyes to see the things you built or how you watch them fall
Your stain's on my shirt, from the wasting your words
You don't get it, you'll fake it, the record's still skipping
I never thought we would get this far you know it
Still keep this boy in check for the moment

I woke up in my clothes
Can't remember last night, draining all the lonely tear drops
And I hope you never go out without a bang
18 is broken, ment for the hopeless
Whats a scar before it's moment
So here's a toast for every kid, who lives for every night
Not the morning after it

I won't go freezing sick from the noise
Can't find a reason, have no voice
I found the great in all your good
I won't go bleeding on the floor
My throat is torn up from drinks to her touch
With my luck i'm headed no where fast
But thats fast enough, for us

I woke up in my clothes
Can't remember last night, draining all the lonely tear drops
And I hope you never go out without a bang
18 is broken, ment for the hopeless
Whats a scar before it's moment
So here's a toast for every kid, who lives for every night
Not the morning after it
Every night, not the morning after it
Every night, not the morning after it
Every night, not the morning after it

General CommentHere are my corrections, but they might not all be right:

    1. Oh Kelly speaks I hear her words but it's so far away from home
I don't need eyes to see the things you built or how you watch them fall
This days on my shirt, from the ways to your words
You don't get it, you'll think it, the records still skipping
I never thought we would get this far you know it
Still keep this boy in check for the moment

"Oh Cali speaks, I hear her words but it's so far away from home

General CommentWhat an incredible song. So catchy and energetic. I'm glad they're recording again.

    Corrections:
"stereo," "meant," "what's a scar before its moment"...

I mention these not out of a search for perfectionism, but because what's right is right. Also, the last one actually does change its meaning.

    Anyway, love the song.
