Nothing can offer content
Nothing can ease the pain
Nothing can wear off the sorrow
One is born to bear within

While your world is worth of trying
My world is mere cold
No chance in disillusion
Only the end of the road

Man weighed down with sorrow
Anguished from the sole being
Destined to live with uneasiness
Always the hard way

Cold is the world
For the ones excluded
Dark is the path
In the absence of light
Compelled to cherish beauty in longing
Cling on love amidst of the suffering

No chance in disillusion
No, not in this world
Not for a man
Weighed down with sorrow
Only the end of the road

My InterpretationCould it be about the protagonists nihilistic thoughts?

It relates a lot back to death (imo)
"Only the end of the road" = terminus.
"One is born to bear within" = all our lives we await the inevitable.

The relationship view is definitely a valid point, however I think he's speaking to the world that include themselves and enjoy life (to the fullest) whereas, he on the other hand sees the world without it's true colours "My world is mere cold" whereas the other people who he uses to contrast his forlorn thoughts with live in a world worth living (or at least trying to) "While your world is worth of trying"

    Just a thought..

General CommentThe protagonist seems to love someone, who doesn't love him:
Compelled to cherish beauty in longing
Cling on love amidst of the suffering

So he can only suffer, and struggles to live.

Song Meaningi don't think it's about "to love someone, who doesn't love him"

it's probably about guy with deformity or something like that since the guy's sorrow is "born to bear within".
but it would definitely be strange to make lyrics about deformed guy.

General CommentGuitarist Ville Friman stated this song is dedicated to Miika Tenkula the former lead guitarist and chief composer of gothic metal band Sentenced (sometimes referred to as "the suicide kings") Tenkula was known for being massively depressed in life and died in 09 to a heart attack. Insomnium are huge fans of the band who were very large and very influential in Finland.
