Talk about electricity,
eyes buzzing like a wire
and I could hardly hear you
with your voice ????? loud and high
?????????? and your bright eyes
and the stars appear ????

As you waltzed away,
taste of an angel,
fainter on my tongue

And the night draws thin through the branches
all around us
I used to be your favourite one
now I poison you inside
?????? you and I'm sorry
glad I sold my gun

As you waltzed away,
taste of an angel,
fainter on my tongue

I shine just like a blackbird
while I'm breaking all your windows
Kiss me with your left hook
leave me standing like a scarecrow

And the sunrise has me converted
the pass through ?????????????
and the ghost of all our pleasures
hunted me all night with knives
Chosen your direction,
yes I'll burn the other one

As you waltzed away,
taste of an angel,
fainter on my tongue

General CommentI think the missing lyrics above are "your raven hair and your bright eyes and the stars up there you hung"
I like "taste of an angel" but I think it's "the taste of your name"
Always thought it was "passed through inky tides"
