I didn't feel lucky that night
A ghost your attention wasn't right (?)
A longing attraction and
I coudn't believe - It wasn't me!

So looking you for the last time (?)
It's a perfect clichee, it's a storyline
To get the boy, who loves the girl
Then kill me now - coz im not her!

And get out!
I want you to leave this place - out!
I lie to save some face - out!
It's killing me just to say - out!

So much for eternal apology
I take back falling so vastly
Don't say now deceiving was hard to believe

Coz i believe
Oooh

So time will only tell
Hidden standards and love notes don't mix well
My heart is just your sweet toy - fuck you!
How does it feel now?

And get out
I want you to leave this place - out!
I lie to save some face - out!
It's killing me just to say - out!

So much for eternal apology
I take back falling so vastly
Don't say now deceiving is hard to believe

Don't say now eternal apology
I take back falling so vastly
Don't say now...
Don't say now...

So much for eternal apology
I take back falling so vastly
Don't say now deceiving is hard to believe
Don't say now that someday you will get me

    My Interpretation

This song is about a girl who loves a boy that loves another girl. She can't believe that he loves the other girl instead of her and she's heartbroken. She wants him to leave and yet she doesn't, and telling him to get out of her life is killing her but she knows she has to in order to save herself from further heartbreak and embarrassment. She takes back falling in love with him so fast and hard...she just wants to move on.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
