"The Man's Machine" as written by Eugene Hamilton, Bob Hamilton, Jeana E Jackson, Sevastos Constantin Venetoulis and Jamie Treays....
Stone, glass, concrete and gravel
All we got to keep us together
Stone, glass, concrete and gravel
Underground travel in overcast weather

Stone, glass, concrete and gravel
All we got to keep us together
Stone, glass, concrete and gravel
Maybe one day things will get better

Song MeaningYou're prettyy stupid if you don't understand the meaning to this song.
The Man's Machine is working society as a generic..
It's an abstract concept concering the daily routine you fall into once you begin employment.
Once you enter the working world it's known as "joining the man's machine" - e.g. another cog in the machine to put through another example. :) BIG Jamie T fan.

Lyric CorrectionIt's "west constance", not Wisconsin. Come on guys, I'm an american and I could decipher that. I dont know how to change it though.

Song MeaningWhen it say's "Stone, glass, concrete, and gravel, all we've got to keep us together... Overcast weather and underground travel," it means that once you're in general society and the workforce all that you have to link you to the people from the previous chapter of your life is your memories of average everyday things.

General CommentStepherssX summarized the main idea precisely, i guess, but i think there's more in the verses. Sounds like being about him touring after the 1st album (seven seas, matador, Wisconsin etc.), maybe hooking up with a girl while in some place or another, having to leave afterwards and never taking her with him to "Save from a man's machine". Could be totally off, but it kind of fits.
