"Weeds" as written by and Joshua Fred James....
Didnt anyone mention, didnt anyone mention that hate is all we show?
Love is not a side we care to know.
You cut half your heart, it makes it hard to grow.
Soon you will know: That well all be damned in the morning; well all be damned in the evening too.
Well all be damned when the sun dont shine, and your hateful wordsll come floating back to you.
Didnt anyone teach you, didnt anyone teach you power is all you need?
You cheat your brother and drag him through the weeds.
A sharp quick incision should be all you need.
Soon, you will see: that well all be damned in the morning: well all be damned in the evening too.
Well all be damned when the sun dont shine, and your broken wordsll come floating back to you.
Your broken wordsll come floating back to you.
Your broken wordsll come floating back to you.

General CommentOh such a beautiful song. One of my favourite songs, I love it.

Watching the video, a baptism scene, it seems to take on an added religious importance. It's as if he's taunting a lover with the fact that her lies, her transgressions will be given back to her by someone higher up.

    Such a good song!
