"King" as written by and Oscar Hammerstein Ii Richard Rodgers....
Look no more,
Only the weak use their eyes
But I, I will teach you right

Come with me, come inside;
Spread your sails, shed your pride
And don’t mind those salty sips
That drag you down—

You’ll just be gone and I’ll
Sing on and on
And on and on and on… to capture the next one:

Long live the king, the king is dead;
Your prayers won’t call him back to your bed
With all this blood I’ve laced upon the moon
No spells or tricks will bring him home:
Long live the king;
The king is mine, the king is dead!

An addict to my tones,
You will drink me ’til you say when,
And then you’ll have to drink some more:

You’ll love me like the devil loves
To drink his water laced with wine,
But you won’t, like him, be called an angel
When you fall:

You’ll just be gone and I’ll
Sing on and on
And on and on and on… to capture the next one:

Long live the king, the king is dead;
Your prayers won’t call him back to your bed
With all this blood I’ve laced upon the moon
No spells or tricks will bring him home:
Long live the king;
The king is mine, the king is dead!

One day I’ll be conquered by a wily voice and eyes
And my tomb will be the stage where
Great cities rise;

And the queen will be dead, long live the queen;
And the queen will be dead, long live the queen;

Long live the king, the king is dead;
Your prayers won’t call him back to your bed
With all this blood I’ve laced upon the moon
No spells or tricks will bring him home:
Long live the king;
The king is mine, the king is dead!

    General CommentFisrt off, this band changed it's name to: "The Romanovs." But when I tried to put that title on the site, it said the band was already available. But I've tried and cou;dn't find it. So this is their old title.

    Since I can only find a couple of the song lyrics on the net, I've taken the liberty to interpret the words as best as I can. Some of the lyrics are a little off because Morgan blends her words with the music sometimes, so I'm very sorry if some words in some songs don't make sense.

    King - All good, Nice Day - All good, Fever Pitch - All good, Exit Wounds - Some words in the second verse are weird, China Shop - All good, White Flag - All good, Kiss - All good, Olden Times - All good, Four Things - some words throughout are weird, Mr. Okada - Some words in the "train" section are weird.

    If you see any mistakes let me know, but don't hate me 'cause I did try my best. :D Enjoy!

    My InterpretationThis song is about a Siren luring in sailors to their death. In this case it is a King. Very cool song. :-)

    Song ComparisonAnother great siren song - "Siren" by Red Delicious. It's on YouTube. It's got the same slinky evil feel that this one has. Gives me goosebumps.
