"Jilly Armeen" as written by and Jamie Alexander Treays....
Taking sides planning a trip,
No place like home if only could afford it.
Ticket to ride connected by the hip,
Surviving on the dabs of the dust in the pocket.

Four minute mile dressing down by a friend,
You haven't seen in a while, all comes to a head.
With just one smile to say what is said,
She's light as a feather I'm heavier than lead.

You're useless to me Jilly Armeen,
Last time I ever sing a song for them.
Using you under pseudonym never again,
You always went for my friends and not for me.

Deep cuts and shards of glass,
Broken bones in plaster cast.
Hand on the shoulder he starts to laugh,
You don't hear planes when you live under the flight path.

You're useless to me Jilly Armeen,
Last time I ever sing a song for them.
Using you under pseudonym never again,
You always went for my friends and not for me.

You're useless to me Jilly Armeen,
Last time I ever sing a song for them.
Using you under pseudonym never again,
You always went for my friends and not for me.

General CommentI think "Jilly Armeen" is actually a pseudonym, too. To me it sounds a bit like "Jill, you are mean".

General CommentI reckon this song is about cocaine. "Last time I ever sing a song for them
Using you under pseudonym, never again" to me means, 'Im not singing about cocaine, to the fans, under code name ever again'. Also, ''Surviving on the dabs of the dust in the pocket.'' is another clue.

General CommentLove this song off the new album.
I think the meaning is pretty straight forward; unrequited love. beautiful song.

General CommentI don't understand what he means about:

"Last time I ever sing a song for them
Using you under pseudonym, never again"

    Explain?

General CommentObviously the lines about the pseudonym mean that he's never gonna write another song for girls that reject him (for "them") using the name "Jilly Armeen" instead of the real girls' names. Thus, this invented "Jilly Armeen" pseudonym is useless now, since he'd reached the decision not to write any more unrequited love songs.

No clue regarding the verses' meaning, though.
