"Tick" as written by Paul Wall, Clifford Harris, Jermaine Dupri, James Phillips, Cornell Haynes, Cameron F. Gipp, Ali K Jones, Sean Garrett, Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, Richard Harrison and Dwayne Carter....
I feel a tick in my head and he's sucking on my head
In the morning I'll be dead if he doesn't leave my head
Why can't he go away, why does he have to stay
Maybe he want to play but I can only say

That I'll get you, I'll burn you, I'll crush you, I'll flush you
(Down, down)
The toilet where you'll spiral
(Around-round)
Aw, tick, mmm tick tick tick, brr tick

I tried to get rid of my plague but I left some of his leg
And he grew back pretty quick so I stabbed the little prick
But now I cut my head, in the morning I'll be dead
But even after still he'll find someone to kill

That I'll get you, I'll burn you, I'll crush you, I'll flush you
(Down, down)
The toilet where you'll spiral
(Around-round)
Aw, tick, mmm tick tick tick, brr tick
Aw, tick, mmm tick tick tick, brr tick
Aw, tick, mmm tick tick tick, brr tick

General CommentThis could easily just be about an actual tick. But I think it also might be a metaphor for parasitic people. Someone who leeches onto the successful, sucking on them until their own life is ruined. Perhaps the type of people that would become part of a celebrities entourage ("Why does he have to stay? Maybe he wants to play").

General CommentBlah Blah Blah Blah. Spend your time READING so you can conquer your fear. That wasn't fear I saw in your eyes when you asked me out or when we spent time together alone talking. And that smile was not fake; your entire face lit up and it was WON-DER-FUL. Or have you forgotten???
