Woo, ah
Good evening
I'd like to thank everybody for coming out
Hope your flights were safe
I'm feeling real breezy
Swift like the wind

It's calling my body, yeah
It's calling my soul (soul)
It's calling my mind
Girl, I gotta go
Baby, it's the grind
Yes, I had a good time
(Don't get me wrong) you were so good, uh
And I really wish I could
Stay a little bit longer
Love you a little bit stronger
And go a little deeper
Baby, with you
But since this thang is calling I
Gotta answer, dry your eyes
Girl, don't cry
'Cause your making it hard for me

'Cause I don't want to leave (Oh girl)
But I gotta go right now
I'll be back to hold you down (I don't wanna)
I don't want to leave no (I don't wanna leave you)
But girl, I gotta go right now
And I'll be back before you know it

So hold that thought (that thought)
Don't you move
See I'm coming right back
Right back for you
Don't you change your position
Girl, I'm on a mission
And baby, trust I'll be missin'
Missin' you
'Cause I don't wanna leave

I don't want to leave (leave, leave you, baby)
But I gotta go right now (I gotta go, though)
And I'll be back to hold you down (I don't wanna)
But I don't want to leave no, no, no, no, no, no
But girl, I gotta go right now (bye bye, I gotta go)
I'll be back before you know it

Streets be calling me (streets be calling me)
They be calling me
They be calling my name, baby
And when they call, I gotta go
So I'm letting you know
But I, I won't be gone for long (won't be gone for long)
And already I can't wait to come home to you

'Cause I don't want to leave ('cause I don't wanna leave)
No, baby
But I gotta go right now (I don't wanna, but I gotta)
I'll be back to hold you down (I don't wanna)
Ooh (I don't want to leave, I don't wanna leave)
I don't wanna go nowhere, but I gotta
But I gotta go right now (uh)
I'll be back before you know it

I don't want to leave you, no
But I gotta go right now
I'll be back to hold you down (I don't wanna leave)
I don't want to leave you, ooh baby
But I gotta go right now
And I'll be back before you know it (and I'll be back before you know it)

Break it down, now
Nah, I don't wanna leave
But you know how it is when
Whoa baby, keep that on
Don't take it off
Keep it on, so I can take it off
When I come back
Yeah for sure, you better believe that

(I don't wanna leave)
Since this thing is calling I
Gotta answer, dry your eyes (but I gotta go right now)
Girl, don't cry
(Ooh, I don't wanna leave)
I don't wanna leave
But I gotta go right now
And I'll be back before you know it

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
