"Cheyne Stokes" as written by and Daniel Lamond David Marshall....
This will be your bleak dissolution
I will rid the world of your filth
And I will scourge you with no remorse

I will abolish all the pain you've caused
By your pillage of the innocent
Your horrid fate will not be quick
Grisly horrors will fall upon you

I will make your insides
On the fucking outside
I'll tear through your skin
And watch you rot

So where's your pleasure now?
It's not so pleasing when you are the one
At the end of this misery

Oh but it is for me to sit
And watch you bleed
So say your final prayer
But I'll promise you

God can't show you where to hide

Song MeaningThe actual meaning the band has confirmed on their myspace is that the song is about killing a rapist. Rapists are bad, M'kay?

General CommentBy the lyrics, I've interpreted that its about a guy, killing a skank girlfriend for cheating on him. Her name is Cheyene Stokes.

General CommentHOLY SHIT! I personally thought it was a typical kill a slut song. But after you siad that, i read the lyrics again and thought, that is the most badass fucking song ever. I actually liked the remake of this song, but liked the older version of recreant. weird huh?

General CommentAlso Cheyne stokes is when you start breathing slower and slower until you stop then start again and repeat the sequence. Idk how that ties into this though

General CommentCheyne Stokes is a breathing pattern as stated before. It is increasingly rapid breathing that slows, stops, and then speeds up again. The song itself follows this pattern. There are sections of the song that slow down and have no lyrics, then the song speeds up again and the vocals kick back in.
