"Wednesday" as written by and James Israel Levy....
Its friday but feeling like a sunday
And a wednesday, its a sad sad day
And you say I need to go away
Forever I go, my head will go
And wednesday was a sad sad day

I'm caught up in the hole of lonely hearts
And burning coals up in my head
No matter what I do my love is gone
My best friends dead

I'm caught up in the hole of lonely hearts
And burning coals up in my head
No matter what I do my love is gone
My best friends dead

He died on a sunday, but found on a wednesday
And his face turned blue on a tuesday
Was a hard hard day, reliving that sunday And the tuesday before the wednesday Was a hard hard day, was a hard hard day

I'm caught up in the hole of lonely hearts
And burning coals up in my head
No matter what I do my love is gone
My best friends dead

I'm caught up in the hole of lonely hearts
And burning coals up in my head
No matter what I do my love is gone
My bestfriends dead

Oh its friday but feeling like a sunday
And the wednesday is a sad sad day

General CommentSuch a good song. You can really hear the sadness behind his words, you can tell that Levy wrote this song with nothing but real emotion. It's a shame music like this goes overlooked. A very good friend of mine showed me this song, and I'm so grateful she did.
