    Actual lyrics:

With our hands up high we're screaming Whoa whoa oh, whoa whoa oh.

I'm not afraid to make big mistakes, I'm not afraid to fall flat on my face. I need to get this looked at, Need to get this looked at. I need some time to think About what I've done, oh. One last thing before I go...

With our hands up high we're screaming Whoa whoa oh, whoa whoa oh. And with our feet we stomp a cadence for you.

It's all free and that's real, It's all free, you said. I need to accept, I need forget, I guess. I'm glad I got this looked at, Finally got this looked at. I'm so glad you came for me. Get this, get this right before we go.

With our hands up high we're screaming Whoa whoa oh, whoa whoa oh. And with our feet we stomp a cadence for you. [x2]

I am the one who needs you. [x3]

With our hands up high we're screaming Whoa whoa oh, whoa whoa oh. And with our feet we stomp a cadence for you. [x2]

I first heard this song on the radio and I didnt like it very much. Its different from the music on the previous album. I heard it a few more time, though, and started to like it. The lyrics, as usual, arent the most complex but are beautiful and have lots of meaning. Overall, from what I've hear, Monster monster is going to be a great album. Too bad I dont get it until Christmas.

I agree. For some reason I didn't care for this song all that much the first time I heard it. Then I gave it another listen and I couldn't take it off repeat. Great song, simple but meaningful lyrics and catchy tune. Love this band along with Underoath. Aaron is most definitely the man.

I love this album. I listened to it nonstop when it first was released and then i kinda stopped for a while then i put it in my cd player again yesterday and i forgot how amazing it is. The whole album is so religious and i love it because of that. And aaron has one of the best voices in rock i believe. i mean come on, i know he doesnt play the drums for this band but it takes some talent to sing and play the drums, especially for a hardcore band like underoath. dude does work.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
