What is your name, what is your name, your there?
Do you live in a place where the light doesn't shine?
Do you find a fancy in dancing with the lifeless?
Does it terrify you that you know you're mine?

What is your game, what is your game, you there?
Do your cover up your eyes when you dive right in?
Do you laugh so loud that you hear your own screaming?
Do you feel me in your soul like the prick of a pin?

You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm going to love you no matter how you run, day or night time
You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm a jealous lover when it comes to running cover over my bride

What are your thoughts, what are your thoughts, you there?
Do you talk in the dark when you're all alone?
Do you live in a room with no doors or no windows?
Does it terrify you that I know you're home?

You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm going to love you no matter how you run, day or night time
You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm a jealous lover when it comes to running cover over my bride

What are your fears, what are your fears, you there?
Will you please lift your eyes so you look in mine?
You're not alone and you never will be--
I'll shine brilliantly inside you 'til the end of time.

You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm going to love you no matter how you run, day or night time
You're mine, mine, mine, all mine, all mine
I'm a jealous lover when it comes to running cover over my bride (x2)

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
